The logistics position is responsible for coordinating the equipment, tooling, materials, shipping, staging, and field support needed for reactor vessel peening project during nuclear outage.
Typical responsibilities include:
+ Coordinating shipment of specialized peening equipment and tooling
+ Tracking outage materials, hoses, pumps, fixtures, and rigging gear
+ Managing staging and laydown areas inside protected plant areas
+ Supporting pull-to-pad movement of tools and components
+ Coordinating cranes, forklifts, trucking, and vendor deliveries
+ Handling inventory and serialized nuclear-grade equipment tracking
+ Supporting outage schedules and work sequencing
+ Preparing shipping, receiving, QA, and contamination-control paperwork
+ Coordinating manpower mobilization, access, and badging
