Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a capable Childcare Solicitor to join a well-respected local authority based in the North West on a locum basis for 3 - 6 months, with a likelihood for extension.

Responsibilities

As Childcare Solicitor you will be confident in carrying your own caseload of care proceedings, as well as pre‑proceeding matters. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Handing a full caseload of childcare matters, providing advice on all aspects of public law children's matters
• Attending PLO and legal planning meetings
• Drafting documents, including statements and threshold agreements
• Non-accidental injury
• Exclusion orders
• Emergency protection orders

Requirements/Considerations
