Role Summary
G5 admins handle moderately complex Linux server issues with a deeper understanding of OS components, file systems, services, and basic networking.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-depth L1 troubleshooting: High CPU/memory consumptionService failures with dependency analysisFilesystem permissions (chmod/chown)Manage user and group administration (creating, modifying, locking accounts).Troubleshoot SSH, sudoers, and authentication‑related issues.Analyze Linux logs using: /var/log/messages/var/log/secureApplication logsSupport patching cycles (pre-checks, post-validation, failure reporting).Work with backu...
