Job Overview
The Line Cook role is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service. This role will report direct to the Sous Chef.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and standards to ensure consistency and high-quality dishes.
- Maintain strict adherence to proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures.
- Set up and stock assigned stations with necessary ingredients and supplies before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout shifts to ensure an efficient workflow.
- Monitor ingredient levels and promptly communicate shortages to supervisors.
- Work closely with the Sous Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.
