Position Information Position Title Lifeguard (Student Position) Academic Year 2026-2027 UIW Mission University of the Incarnate Word is a Catholic institution that welcomes to its community persons of diverse backgrounds, in the belief that their respectful interaction advances the discovery of truth, mutual understanding, self-realization, and the common good. Position Summary The Lifeguard monitors the safety of patrons and conditions of the pool. The Lifeguard reports to the Assistant Director of Sports and Wellness.

This applicant pool will remain online for the 2026-2027 academic year and will be used to hire interested students as needed.
This is a student position open to current UIW students who may be hired through the Federal Work-Study Program or student employment. Essential Functions

Maintain lifesaving skills through in-service and personal training;
