The **Lifeguard** is primarily responsible for maintaining order and enforcing the pool’s facility rules and regulations.

**Principal Accountabilities**

+ Provide lifeguard services to operate swimming pools with bath houses.
+ Follow and enforce all facility rules, regulations and safety procedures, and establish and maintain cooperative-working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
+ Deal tactfully and courteously with customers and provide the highest quality customer service.
+ Observe swimming area to ensure safety of customers. Perform water rescue, standard first aid and CPR procedures and techniques.
+ Ensure the swimming area is open to customers at scheduled times and that only authorized persons are admitted to the area.
