Job Description

Incumbent’s primary responsibility is to provide both individual and small group instructional assistance for the concepts taught in all campus Mathematics classes. Incumbent must follow established policies and procedures and are encouraged to participate in appropriate organizations and activities. Incumbent reports to the Assistant Dean of the Learning Resources Center. Mandatory Qualifications (M1) A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Mathematics or closely related field with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics from an accredited institution of higher learning.
(M2) Teaching and/or tutoring experience in Mathematics.
(M3) Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Desirable Qualifications (D1) College-level teaching experience in mathematics.
(D2) Experience with online educational platforms such as Canvas.
