Job Summary

Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer focusing on valve technology to join our global FACTS (NPI) team. The position will be based in Tampere, Finland. GE Vernova Grid Solutions Oy delivers mainly high power (>100MVAr) Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), Static Synchronous Compensators (STATCOM), Static Var Compensators (SVC), Fixed Series Capacitors (FSC), and Synchronous Condensers (SC) used to control power system voltage and reactive power flow, improve power system stability and transmission system efficiency, and enable the integration of renewables.

Key Tasks

• Act as senior semiconductor valve technology engineer and ensure high quality of products in close cooperation with R&D, system design, tendering, and other stakeholders.
