Our team in Canada is growing; we are currently recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Layout Designer with experience in the mining industry to join the team at our Vancouver or Calgary Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical layouts: study level and execution level drawings in line with project requirements
• Develop mechanical layouts in a 3D environment.
• Produce layout relevant deliverables such as site layouts, general arrangements and detailed drawings.
• Deliver design drawings according to project-specific design criteria as well as the defined regulations, codes, and standards.
• Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by communicating expectations and holding project members to account for standards.
• Support proposal managers in providing input into the proposal and estimates.
