The Lead Database Administrator will support the Database function globally, they will be an SME accountable for owning the technical roadmap and strategy for embedding new tools and projects within Johnson Matthey’s Database (CoLo, On-Premise and Cloud) estate. Within this area they are responsible for ensuring that Database solutions are fit for purpose and maximizing the value derived from investments in technology.
The primary goal of the role is twofold: firstly to own and drive the technical roadmap for Johnson Matthey’s Database environments including the technology therein through the teams delivery of projects. Secondary is the 3rd line incident and service request trouble shooting/fulfilment, projects, service improvements, and setting standards through documenting policy and process.
