Senior / Lead C++ Software Engineer (IBM z/OS) – Richmond Hill, ON

5 days onsite, 6‑Month Contract, $80–100/hour

We are seeking a Senior or Lead C++ Software Engineer to join a team building security‑critical software used by major global financial institutions. This is a highly specialized chance for engineers with deep IBM z/OS and low‑level systems programming experience.

Must‑Have Skills

• 8–10+ years of hands‑on C/C++ development
• Strong IBM z/OS experience
• xLC/C++ compiler
• HLASM (High Level Assembler)
• COBOL callable boundaries
• JCL
• SMP/E
• SAF / RACF / ACF2
• TLS / SSL and secure systems programming
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and memory analysis skills

Nice to Have

• Applied cryptography
• OpenSSL, PKCS#11, HSM integration
• Java and native SDK development
• CMake, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
