The purpose of the role is to develop and implement measurement strategies to produce technical dimensional inspection reports for both internal and external customers. Responsible for ensuring all onsite measurement equipment is regularly inspected and calibrated to ensure capability for production use.
Main Responsibilities:
Dimensional inspection of products and tooling. Producing FAI reports. Support part engineering teams with drawing interpretation and technical specifications. Programming automated inspection equipment such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (Renishaw MODUS) and structured light systems such as GOM / Zeiss ATOS equipment. Applying first principles inspection methods and use of standard measurement equipment. Using CAD software to interrogate models.
