LABOURER - CASUAL

Reporting to the Operation Manager and Working Lead, this position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of School District grounds and facilities.

Hours of Work: 8 hours per day on an as needed basis

Duties to Commence: As soon as possible after closing on an as needed basis

Work Year Base: Twelve (12) months per year

Commencing Salary: $26.63/hr.

Duties to be assigned include:

1. Repairs, replaces and maintains fences, playground equipment, grounds, driveways, sidewalks, parking lots and other District facilities. Delivers furniture, equipment, materials and supplies as required by;
   • Following work orders assigned by Supervisor(s)
   • Responding to emergency telephone requests (including clean up of broken glass, leaking water, and removal of dead animals)
