Summary

AGAT Laboratories is currently looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Inorganics/Environmental lab working out of our Edmonton, Alberta facility. This position is given direction from the Laboratory Supervisor and assists with administrative and basic laboratory services.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic laboratory procedures including preparation of samples, reagents and calibration solutions.
• Provide general lab support including washing glassware, cleaning work stations and waste disposal.
• Calibrate, operate, maintain and troubleshoot intermediate instruments.
• Compile, verify and validate accurate data records.
• Meet quality assurance and turnaround specifications.
• Follow all Quality Control and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Report results.
• Other duties as assigned.
