            Job Scope  Wash and clean laboratory glassware and apparatus, both manually and using machines. 
Perform soaking and washing of lab glassware according to designated room requirements. 
Wash and soak glassware/apparatus used for cigarette testing, clean ashtray, cartridge and holder. 
Work with diluted acids for soaking/cleaning apparatus/glassware. 
Perform general cleaning of centrifuge, sonicator, fume cupboards. 
Prepare bleach dilution solutions according to lab Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). 
Operate simple equipment (glassware washer, autoclave, oven, Ultrapure water systems). 
Perform general housekeeping (cleaning and tidying of cupboards, ovens, refrigerators, freezers). 
Sweeping and mopping of floors. 
Clear general waste, chemical, biohazard and cytotoxic waste bins. 
Handle and sort bulk and heavy laboratory consumables.
