 SUMMARY:  
Mine near Pilanesberg area requires a Lab Assistant    POSITION INFO:  
 Minimum Requirements:  
 Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Physical Science.  
 National Certificate or Diploma in Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Geology, or a related field will be advantageous.  
 Previous experience in a mining, mineral processing, or analytical laboratory is preferred.  
 Basic knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS).  
 Familiarity with sample preparation techniques and laboratory equipment   
  Key Responsibilities: 
   Receive, log, label, and track geological, metallurgical, environmental, and production samples.  
 Prepare samples for analysis through drying, crushing, splitting, pulverizing, screening, and weighing.  
 Assist laboratory technicians and chemists with routine chemical and physical analyses.
