We are looking for an experienced Kong Administrator cum Developer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing API solutions using Kong API Gateway. The candidate will work closely with engineers and product managers to ensure that APIs are secure, scalable, and meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and configure Kong entities: services, routes, plugins, caching, API management, etc.
- Develop custom Lua scripts for advanced functionality.
- Integrate Kong with existing APIs and backend systems.
- Manage API security, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.
- Implement traffic management features like load balancing and caching.
- Monitor, alert, and debug Kong performance; troubleshoot any issues.
- Automate Kong configurations as part of a DevOps pipeline.
