Job Description (Tenya Kitchen and Service Crew) Service Section
  • Answer customer questions about menu items and serve customers at tables or counter
  • Handle the cash register to take takeaway orders, accept payment and give change
  • Prepare packaging for takeaway orders
  • Stock and replenish supplies at the service areas, and refill condiments
  • Clean and sanitize service areas including work surfaces, cupboards and storage areas
  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
  • Dish-washing duties
  • Any other duties delegated by Store Manager from time to time

  • Automated kitchen - minimal washing, chopping, shredding, and grating of ingredients
  • Prepare meals items - including, among others, tempura items, various types of noodles (somen, soba, udon), starter items, etc
