Food Preparation: Assist in preparing food items according to recipes, including chopping vegetables, prepping meats, and assembling ingredients. Maintain proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety.
Cooking: Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and other cooking appliances to prepare menu items to specification.
Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, work surfaces, and floors. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Dishwashing: Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware.
Stock Management: Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock to minimize waste and ensure efficient workflow.
Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Head Chef, such as assisting with food preparation for catering events or special orders.
