A shift manager for the restaurant operations at Hotel Karhu and the newly refurbished Hotel Sodankylä in Sodankylä, Lapland.
Responsibilities
- Assist the hotel manager and cover their absence, including staff scheduling and shift planning.
- Handle kitchen and front‑of‑house operations for two breakfast venues, a buffet/carte restaurant, banquet and meeting spaces.
- Oversee purchasing, inventory control, invoicing and material ordering.
- Manage pricing, recipe development and menu planning.
- Maintain overall cleanliness, organization and adherence to peer hospitality standards.
- Monitor and enforce House rules and safety procedures.
- Provide guidance and support for all staff to deliver high‑quality customer service.
