JOB SUMMARY:
The Lead Medical Assistant (LMA) works under the supervision of the LVN Supervisor to support efficient patient flow and ensure quality care. This role involves assisting the LVN Supervisor in training new staff and providing support to providers and back-office staff with Cerner-related questions and training on new workflows.

PERFORMANCE DIMENSIONS AND TASKS

Essential Function
1. Acts as a team player and medical support person.
2. Assist in the supervision of work and performance of clinic staff including medical assistants and other support staff, as
instructed, including input for performance reviews and corrective action plans as needed. 
3. Oversee and train new and existing staff along with the LVN supervisor.
4. Assist with the coordination of work with the Patient Care Coordinators for follow up on missed appointments, reminder calls, lost to care calls, and high-risk referrals. Track abnormal PAPS and mammograms u...
