Overview


The Junior Systems Administrator provides day-to-day operational support for the institution's systems, servers, cloud services, and enterprise applications. This role assists in maintaining reliable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure across academic and administrative environments. The ideal candidate is technically curious, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a mid-level systems administration role while supporting faculty, staff, and students.


Responsibilities


Responsible for general day-to-day systems and application support, to include, but not limited to as much of the following as possible:

+ Assist with administration and monitoring of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, file services, and group policies

+ Support virtualized environments using Hyper V, including VM provisioning, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting
