Our client, a leading Labour and Employment law firm, is seeking a Junior Legal Assistant to join their team. This role follows a hybrid remote schedule.
Responsibilities Provide legal and administrative support to lawyers within the labour and employment practice. Prepare correspondence and legal documents, including court filings and materials for administrative tribunals such as the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. Ensure timely service and filing of documents in accordance with the Rules of Civil Procedure and applicable tribunal procedures. Manage document production and maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems. Coordinate schedules, maintain calendars, and manage tickler and reminder systems to ensure deadlines are met.
