Overview

Job Description Our client has an opportunity for a Temp Junior Bookkeeper.

Responsibilities

  • Debit and credit knowledge.
  • Support in processing accounts payable.
  • Generate purchase orders.
  • Bank statement processing.
  • Collection of and follow up on relevant supporting documentation.
  • Assist in day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
  • Perform general administrative tasks related to bookkeeping.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Accounting/Finance related qualification
  • 1 - 2 years' bookkeeping experience
  • Debit and credit knowledge
  • Pastel experience
  • Proficient in MS Office
