Relevant Financial qualification (e.g. BCom Accounting, National Diploma in Accounting or equivalent) OR a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in a Financial Administration or Bookkeeping role
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software
Familiarity with SARS eFiling and statutory submissions
Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day financial administration in a fuel/petroleum industry
Process supplier invoices and maintain accurate creditor records
Perform supplier statement reconciliations
Prepare creditors age analysis and manage payment runs
Manage debtor invoicing and collections
Maintain debtors age analysis and follow up on overdue accounts
