The Tool Service & Maintenance team provides value add by: Overseeing or working in Tool & Die service operations and adhering to internal working rules and guidelines. Operating all shop machine tools and hand tools (e.g., precision lathes, drills, jig borer, milling machines, etc. ) Reading specifications and using specialized IT programs to design and calculating the tools. Constructing and repairing tools, gauges, intricate fixtures with synchronizing parts, gauges, etc.. Assisting in initial ramp-up procedures for new tools, in testing and analyzing dysfunctionalities.
