Position Scope: The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic with large earthworks construction / mining project experience.

• 2 week on / 2 weeks off or 3 weeks on/3 weeks off rotations;
• 12‑hour days

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and uptime of heavy mobile equipment critical to mine operations.
• Work within the contract presented to the client.
• Mentor apprentices and support employee development and training.
• Attend weekly safety meetings and provide a safe work setting.
• Daily documentation and correspondence between client and company on performance of equipment as described in the applicable contract.
