Technical Lead – Water Information Systems
Responsibilities
- Reports to the Senior Project Manager Water Information Systems and facilitates the effective use of resources, business technologies, databases, and applications to meet the needs of internal and external clients within the Hamilton Water division.
- Works with HW user groups to improve software applications, including asset management and GIS systems, through continual improvement initiatives, data analysis, reporting, workflow design, and documentation.
- Leads projects and staff, coordinating cross‑departmental work teams, and provides technical leadership, guidance, and problem‑solving.
- Analyzes and develops processes and workflows that integrate asset management and GIS data sources.
- Reviews requirements, coordinates with IT and Public Works IT for technology needs, and prepares impact analysis.
