Requirements

• National Senior certificate of equivalent to NQF4
• 3 years working experience in an IT environment
• Minimum 2 years exposure to IT hardware, network infrastructure, CCTV and fibre installations
• Valid RSA driver's licence with own transport

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate and test CAT6 and fibre cabling
• Mount and connect devices such as cameras, WI‑FI access points, switches and network equipment
• Diagnose and repair faults in cabling, devices or system configuration
• Pull, route, label and secure cables according to standards and site requirements
• Terminate cables in patch panels, cabinets and equipment rooms
• Maintain records of equipment and stock levels
