A. Key Responsibilities
  • In-Process Quality Inspection (WIP)
    • Conduct roaming, random, and scheduled inspections across machining cells.
    • Verify critical dimensions, cosmetic conditions, and process checkpoints on WIP parts.
    • Ensure machinists follow job routers, process parameters, and inspection instructions.
    • Stop production when any dimension or cosmetic requirement falls outside specification.
  • Incoming/Returned Parts from Secondary Processes
    • Inspect parts returning from external secondary‑process vendors (e.g., anodizing, plating, grinding, welding).
    • This inspection is independent of the standard incoming inspection performed by the QC Incoming team.
    • Perform policing checks through random or sampling inspection to catch defects before parts proceed to the next machining stage.
    • Segregate suspect or damaged pieces and report immediately to the QC Supervisor.
