Job Description

Responsible for performing a variety of interpretation, translation, and medical escort services to assist non-English speaking Arab patients receiving care.

• Performs a variety of interpretation and translation services to assist non-English speaking Arab patients.
• Relay instructions and other medical information accurately to patients and their families, and make sure they understand.
• Assists non-English speaking patients with cross-cultural orientation to understand the nuances of medical care systems.
• Provides verbal and written communication between health care providers, clinical staff, and patients/visitors.
