Range 30 Step 1 begins at $24.16 per hour however, with Superintendent or designee approval and written verification of work experience beyond the job description requirements, beginning salary placement could be as high as Step 3, $26.64 per hour.

Requirements:

Candidates shall be certified by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), have achieved a score of 4.0 or above on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA), the Educational Sign Skills Evaluation-Interpreter (ESSE-I), or the National Association of the Deaf/American Consortium of Certified Interpreters (NAD/ACCI) assessment.
