The International Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services from foreign countries, ensuring that all purchases are processed accurately and on time. This position requires extensive knowledge of Mexican and U.S. Customs regulations, as well as proficiency in both English and Spanish. The International Buyer will leverage free trade agreements, such as the USMCA, to optimize international transactions. This role involves close coordination with vendors, corporate buyers, facility stakeholders, customs brokers, and freight carriers to ensure that all purchase orders (POs), import/export documentation, duties, and billing requirements are correctly handled.
