Role and Facility Information

The Vancouver Island Health Authority Department of Cardiac Services has two opportunities for General Cardiologists to join other members of Internal Medicine with dedicated focus on Cardiovascular Disease and to establish a Heart Health Division in Victoria, which will be part of a well-established 21‑member Division of Cardiology.

Qualifications

• Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Cardiology.
• Experience in women’s health, adult congenital heart disease, cardio‑oncology, or cardiac rehabilitation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Obligations include care in the coronary care unit, cardiology wards, and cardiology consultation service.
