Intelligence Analyst – Security Intelligence and Threats Group

Location: Wellington, New Zealand Police National Headquarters.

Overview: This full‑time, on‑site position supports the High‑Risk Targeting Team within the National Intelligence Centre. The role involves analysing national security, domestic extremism and disaffected persons data to produce intelligence products for police and cross‑government stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

• Undertake analysis and produce intelligence products to address identified priorities.
• Proactively identify emerging or escalating trends.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and apply analytical techniques to interpret information and data.
• Develop high‑standard written reports, presentations and clear verbal briefings for a range of audiences.
