A Nurse Practitioner is needed for the Louisiana Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders (LCBCD). This position is pivotal to the mission of the LCBCD in expanding its services with a concentrated initiative dedicated to the care of patients with blood disorders. This clinic would serve as a vital resource for primary and specialty providers throughout the state of Louisiana who refer patients with complex bleeding and clotting disorders. A Nurse Practitioner with experience in pediatric/family health care is a vital component to the LCBCD being able to adequately establish a comprehensive care clinic.
The LCBCD utilizes a comprehensive care model in the treatment of patients with a variety of hematologic conditions, with an emphasis on patients with bleeding and clotting disorders. We provide care for patients throughout the lifespan. We are a federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Center, and the only such program for adults in the state of Louisiana. We...
