Heat Exchanger Engineer

The Heat Exchanger Engineer will join the Heat Transfer Group of the Equipment Consulting Services Department (CSD) and provide operation and project support, technical consultations and maintain standards on issues related to different types of heat exchangers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the company’s heat exchanger (Shell and tubes, Air Coolers, double pipes, plate and frame, welded plate, BAHE, etc.)
• Troubleshoot field problems related to thermal and mechanical performance of heat exchangers.
• Conduct thermal, hydraulic and mechanical evaluation of new and existing exchangers.
• Conduct design, performance evaluation, monitoring and troubleshooting of heat exchangers.
• Evaluate heat exchanger manufacturer’s technical capabilities and assess manufacturing deviations to company specifications.
