Review and interpret contract documents, detailed structural drawings, specifications, and health & safety requirements, including all revisions and updates relevant to infrastructure and bridge works.
Responsibilities - Ensure that the contractors’ structural works comply with approved drawings, design specifications and Dubai authority standards (RTA DM).
- Conduct daily inspections of structural activities such as culverts, underpasses, retaining walls, foundations, abutments, piers, decks, precast elements and other reinforced concrete structures.
- Verify reinforcement details, formwork, concrete placement, expansion joints, bearings, anchor bolts, embedded items and other structural components as per approved shop drawings and method statements.
- Check alignment, level and dimensions during structural works using surveying instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with design tolerances.
