Role Summary

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for running sourcing events for indirect goods and/or services as requested by the specific function, BU or Site as defined by the system workflows. The overall focus of the role is to manage the complete RFQ/RFP process and select the most appropriate supplier for the intended scope of work based on Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost parameters as appropriate and aligned with the global indirect category strategy.

Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing events on behalf of the Function/BU/Site in a timely manner.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value for Flowserve with respect to the scope of work and Function/BU/Site needs, balancing Quality, Delivery, Cost and Service.
• Finalize contractual agreements such as Price Lists or Teaming Agreements per the specific scope and ensure they are loaded within applicable tools/ERPs.
