Prepare, review, and process all shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and customs documentation (AES filing, export documentation i.e. MBL, HBL).
Create batch records and maintain accurate and organized records of all documentation.
Coordination and Communication
Liaise with clients and carriers, to ensure smooth and efficient cargo movement.
Coordinate with the operation team to gather necessary information for documentation.
Provide updates and respond to inquiries from clients regarding documentation status.
Compliance and Accuracy
Verify the accuracy of documentation against shipment details, and verify hazardous materials shipping paperwork.
Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner to avoid delays in shipment processing.
