ILM Vancouver is preparing for a future vacancy in the Creature Technical Director position. Here, you'll rig hero creatures, troubleshoot complex rigging problems, and mentor junior artists. You'll also have the opportunity to script tools in Maya and participate actively in project reviews to elevate team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Rig and envelope hero creatures using Maya
• Solve rigging issues for diverse artistic disciplines
• Guide and support entry-level artists in the team
• Develop scripts, plug-ins, and utilities in Maya
• Attend dailies and meetings as necessary
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of relevant VFX work experience or 5 years in lieu of education
