Insight Global is currently seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join a leading Energy company located in Houston, TX. The person in this role will join a team of four, responsible for supporting US national code compliance across various cross-functional Data Center specific product development engineering teams. This role involves ensuring adherence to standards such as NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, and UL. The Instrumentation & Control Engineer will prepare and complete various Controls and Instrument engineering deliverable drawings, documents, and calculations such as instrument list/index, instrument data sheets, control system architecture drawings, alarm schedule, select and specify all safety and control instruments, etc. They will also troubleshoot any operation issues during start-up and commissioning of data center as it relates to control systems and instrumentation, perform ladder logic programming (if needed), control valve sizing, relief v...
