NOV Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer. In this role you will be joining our Port Elizabeth team responsible for hydraulic design and technical documentation on various equipment for new and existing markets. Our customers are oil and rig companies, rig operators and renewable‑energy industry. We have a broadly composed professional environment with heavy expertise in the following disciplines: Mechanical, hydraulics, pipe design & layout, automation, electrical / instrumentation as well as structure calculation.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and calculation of hydraulic systems and components in accordance with international standards and regulations
• Prepare Hydraulics Flow Diagram, bills of material, technical documentation, and test procedures and engineering reports
• Contribute to standardization of hydraulic system / components and conduct improved quality, environment, and safety
