Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with ESA, OHRC, and HR policies
Maintain employee records and update HR/payroll systems
Liaise with Payroll regarding compensation, absences, and vacation tracking
Coordinate full-cycle recruitment and onboarding activities
Support employee orientation and HR administration
Assist managers with HR-related projects and administrative tasks
Maintain accurate HR databases, files, and training records
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist or HR Specialist experience, preferably in a unionized environment
Strong knowledge of ESA, OHRC, and employment legislation
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with payroll systems; JD Edwards considered an asset
CHRP or CHRL designation is an asset
