Supporting the Jarrow site to effectively manage Health and Safety responsibilities both from a legal and internal Sonoco Company perspective. Ensuring that Sonoco employees work in safe conditions, legal and corporate obligations are fully met, and safety culture is developed and enhanced. The jobholder will also manage facilities operations linked to EHS, maintain safe working environments, and support strategic improvements. This will involve being part of the European Safety Team and delivering upon the strategic plans developed and agreed. Ultimate purpose is to strive to reduce risk exposures in our operations by engaging with our operators and leaders.
