About The Role

The HR Generalist will take a supporting role in implementing the strategic human resource calendar for DP World Contract Logistics in Oakville. You will support the HR Manager to plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate HR processes and procedures and be a business partner in all organizational and HR related matters.

How You Will Contribute

• Answer routine inquiries about human resources information (disciplines, records, wages, absences, hiring, policies and procedures).
• Participate in recruitment: reviewing resumes, posting jobs, interviewing candidates, conducting orientation and training, completing new hire paperwork and communications with staff.
• Conduct new hire (safety) orientation, risk assessments and ongoing safety training.
