The Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in being the first- and last-person guest interact with.
This position is responsible for greeting guests, answering phones, managing reservations, and escorting guests to their seats. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Welcome and greet guests warmly upon their arrival and assign them to a wait list if necessary. Monitor the wait list, providing accurate wait times and ensuring guest satisfaction while waiting for their table.
Escort and seat guests at their tables, starting their dining experience with an enjoyable experience.
Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind to ensure a smooth flow of service.
