The role. Reporting into laboratory leadership, the Director has full operational accountability for a hospital-based clinical laboratory, overseeing compliance with CAP, JCAHO, CLIA, FDA, and CMS standards while setting and executing department strategies across service, quality, regulatory, financial, and personnel goals.
