Job Summary:
Provides spiritual care in the home to terminally ill patients and their families. To provide an assessment of the patient's and family's spiritual needs and to provide counseling to meet those needs. Makes reasonable efforts to facilitate visits by local clergy, pastoral counselors or other individuals who can support the patient's spiritual needs. Participates as a core member of the Interdisciplinary Team.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Master of Divinity (preferred). Licensure: Certification (as applicable) Experience: One (1) year experience as a Chaplain in a healthcare setting (preferred) Skills: Working knowledge of community Spiritual and other resources. Good interpersonal skills. Proof of current CPR.
Transportation: Reliable transportation, current Driver's License, and valid/current auto liability insurance.
