We are recruiting a Band 7 Physiologist who is BHRS accredited (or equivalent) to assist in the planning and delivery of a specialised Cardiology diagnostics service at Aintree University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Cardiology Labs team you will:

• Provide daily follow‑up clinics for pacing and rhythm management patients
• Conduct remote follow‑up assessments
• Support a busy brady‑implant service
• Lead ILR implant and explant services at the RLH site
• Deliver services to the acute A & E department, including care of unwell complex device patients
• Assist in planning and delivery of a broad range of cardiac physiological tests including ECG, ambulatory monitoring, tilt table testing, exercise tolerance testing, echocardiography (dobutamine, exercise, trans‑oesophageal, contrast, bubble studies), specialist valve clinics, speckle tracking, 3‑D echocardiography, research, cardiac catheter...
